Rick Nelson and more @4 PM (PDT) 6/8/09

This Monday (June 1, 2009) at 4PM (Pacific Time) another exciting installment of my Internet radio program, "Come To The Sunshine," rolls out on www.luxuriamusic.com.
In our first hour we'll hear singles by:
Hial B. King/Special Delivery/The Flying Circus/The Wreck-A-Mended/The Central Nervous System/Emil Richards And The Factory/The Knack/Warner-Porter-Warner/The Kitchen Cinq/Joey Cooper/The Guild Light Gauge/Proctor Amusement Co./Pastoral Symphony/Art Nouveaux/The Footprints/The Now/Rufus Lumley/Carnival Connection/Frank Sinatra, Jr./The Unforscene
In hour two, we'll be turning our artist spotlight onto recordings by Rick Nelson from 1966 - 1969 (including selections in MONO from his 1967 LP, Another Side Of Rick). To round things out, we'll be spinning loads of album cuts, a set of Nelson sings Newman (Randy Newman of course), b-sides and other wonderful goodies from this underrated visionary of L.A. rock.
I hope you'll join me this Monday (or sometime soon). There are no podcasts, but the show repeats on Sunday at 7AM (Pacific Time).

Rick Nelson
Hey, Andrew, friend and fellow Monkee author here. I don't think we've ever discussed our apparent mutual admiration for Ricky Nelson. I'm a big fan of his Imperial records and haven't heard most of these tracks. Really enjoyable sets. Thank you for putting it together and sharing it with the rest of us. E.L.
