Great Mix!
Since I was a HAIR groupie since the age of 12(I hung out at the Biltmore Theater and got to know a lot of the original cast and remained friends with a couple of them... moving to the West Coast, I eventually starred in several musicals at a community college in The O.C., where previously a young student named Diane Hall starred as "Maria" in THE SOUND OF MUSIC... she soon moved to NYC, and changed her stage last name to KEATON- the Rest Was NOT Silent! In MY collection of HAIR Tribal recordings, I've currently got 37. As a professional international actor, I've performed with 14 original cast members from all over the world! With the current Broadway revival, I'm in my HAIR Freakazoid memory mode. My living room is scattered with all the records and CD's (I made the ULTIMATE Mp3 CD, utilizing ALL my recorded material and even fitting all the "cut" numbers from DisinHAIRited/Fresh Hair, plus the added songs, like "Hippie Life". It's now a 3 1/2 hour show- LOL! Can't WAIT for Part 2!!!Glad you dug it!
Wow! Especially coming from such a HAIR connoisseur, that's quite the praise.I covet your HAIR archives. Congrats on scoring those. I by no means have anywhere near an exhaustive collection, but it was easy to find enough nice tracks to pack in a couple of all-HAIR shows.
(Apologies for the technical difficulties during a block in the first half of Part 2...)
Glad you found the show and thanks for tuning in,
Tothar
HAIR, Part 2
Hi Tothar! You said you were going to email me the Mp3 of Part II, but I still haven't received it a month later... any chance of getting it? Having listened to your Part 1 several dozen times now, I'm ready for some FRESH HAIR... :) Regards, DaveGreat show
It was a real trip to hear "Manchester England England" in German, in my car!
