COOL MENTION IN ANGELENO MAGAZINE

losangeles.modernluxury.com/style/media-diet-arianne-phillips

Frock star Arianne Phillips—famous for styling Madonna—has developed a substantial résumé as a costume designer too, from the crazy-young-lady shmattes of Girl, Interrupted to the Western wear of Walk the Line. Now, fashion designer turned director Tom Ford taps Phillips to bring early-’60s fashion alive in A Single Man, his buzzed-about adaptation of the set-in-L.A. Christopher Isherwood novel.

Alan Livingston, signed The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Band to Capital Records and created Bozo The Clown dies at 91

Los Angeles, California - Alan W. Livingston, the music executive who created Bozo the Clown and signed THE BEATLES (The worlds greatest and most successful musical act in history) during his tenure as president of Capitol Records, has died. He was 91.

Livingston died Friday of age-related causes in his Beverly Hills home, said his stepdaughter, Jennifer Lerner.

Livingston began his multifaceted career in show business as a writer and producer of children's read-along record albums for Capitol Records. He came up with the Bozo the Clown character for the 1946 album "Bozo at the Circus," which became a hit and spawned a cottage industry of merchandise and the television series featuring the wing-haired clown.

R.I.P. LUX INTERIOR

Having met the cramps & seeing them in late 1976 i believe & following them ever since, i can say that Lux, Ivy, & long time big sister Miriam Linna, shaped my life, showed me where it's at & changed my life forever. There are no words to explain how sad i am. These people created an entire lifestyle, along with John Waters early films, that is taken for granted today.  Sad sad day. It's raining here in Los Angeles...tune in tuesday for a special show...

I wanna leave a happy memory
