Bedazzled OST

Submitted by Twitchy on Thu, 11/01/2007 - 15:21.

I have two copies of this on CD, from different sources. One release is from Harkit Records (HRKCD 8001) and came out in 2001. The other release is from Two Little Kooks Records, came out in 2000, and also includes the album "Lady in Cement" by Hugo Montenegro.

I also have the original pressing on vinyl. That's just the kind of nerd I am.

I am guessing both of the above are out of print. If you want to arrange something, I could send you a copy of the CD or .mp3's through snail-mail. I would require that you send me something cool and obscure in exchange....that way, everybody wins! If the CD were readily available for a reasonable price I would not do this, by the way.

Where are you located? In the U.S.? If you're in the U.S. I can probably mail a CD at minimal expense (I'm guessing $3 tops when you factor in the mailer). So cash isn't too much of a factor. I was thinking maybe you had some other weird CDs and you could pick one to send a copy of (check with me first in case I already have it). Or you could make a donation to Luxuria and I'll send you the CD for free! That will make Chuck Kelley happy and make him love me with all his spleen.

So you're a libertarian? Maybe you could send me one of those cool old-fashion card catalogs -- those are cool. Just kidding. Send me a stack of "Ron Paul for President" bumper-stickers, or large glossy photograph of John Stossel.....for me to poop on!

Anyway, you have my email address if you'd like to make arrangements. To quote Peter Cook, "You fill me with inertier!"

they've apparently fixed the thread (i couldn't get into it for a while)

im in north carolina.

listening to "peters pad" marvin hamlisch, "the april fools" soundtrack now. you wouldn't happen to have a copy of that lying around would you?

i already donated $100. but if you have both of those CD's...maybe i'll do another $100. i'd hate to see them go off the web!

"You fill me with inertier!" lol. inertia? was that spelling on purpose?

Yeah I misspelled "inertia" on purpose, because if you listen closely, his British accent makes it sound like "inertier."

Well email me at the address I gave (doohickamabob@yahoo.com) and send me your mailing address and I'll mail you a copy of Bedazzled.

I don't have the Marvin Hamlisch album you mentioned. What's it like? Hamlisch is touring around doing orchestral numbers; my friend just saw him last week and said it was a terrific show. His opening act is this comedian guy (man I can't remember names) who sings a song about colonscopies.

$100 is quite a respectable donation, so I won't press you to give more unless you're totally flush with cash. You can mail me something cool in exchange, or just consider it a random holiday gift from the great beyond.

Bedazzled CD and other stuff

Hey DJ, did you receive the Bedazzled CD? You should have gotten it by now. What's the April Fools soundtrack like? If it's as good as Bedazzled, then how about sending me a copy in exchange for the Bedazzled?

(I also encourage some sort of donation to Luxuria...)

Bedazzled, Luxuria, etc.

Is Luxuria's stream still down? Did they make their pledge-drive target in time for 2008? It's a little hard to find things on the site since the main page is covered with a big chonkin' series of YouTube videos.

I hope Lux stays alive. I am interested in hearing whatever is the latest about Millionaire, Chuck Kelley, Eric Bonerz and the rest of the Luxuria clan. I hope they'll bring back Magnificent Seven or its equivalent, and link to blogs and other writings. I'll contribute if anybody asks me to.

Anyway, DJ, enjoy your CD. Keep contemplating your thanks strategy and let me know anything you decide. Or just enjoy and don't worry about the thank you (though I hope you and others will contribute to Luxuria). I am available for future trading. See you later.

Well i have 312 tunes on my ipod >90% of which are my faves from luxuriamusic (luxotron). But i don't know if 'we' are allowed, legally, to share iPod exports with other people (assuming you have one).

I can also contribute more to lux. they are planning another fund drive soon i think.

or i can send you some cash for your trouble.

I can't think of any rare possessions i can part with, though i have > 100 CD's by now, all scattered with lux tunes. if you're missing anything, maybe i can rip you a copy of those. though i mainly only purchase them from luxotron's offerings (not the live shows).

i really enjoy the CD (on my iPod). thanks again.
