Just heard this song (a fave) on lux for the first time in years i think. i bought this CD long ago. how come you don't play as much of those sorts tunes anymore? bebel gilberto, serge gainsbourg, carnival, pizzicato (sp?) 5, obscure songs (to me) like "los gatos high", "April Fools" and (original) "bedazzled" soundtracks, stuff like that? someone else take over the programming? is it a royalty thing? I like the Koop (recent purchase), and some other additions anyway my ipod has over 250 of my faves from my years listening to lux (over 1000 songs if u include the CD's i purchased), and well, most of them i no longer hear on lux. i

All of the songs you mention are still on the playlist and are in full rotation.  Maybe you are not listening long enough? :-)

"De omnibus dubitandum" --

Submitted by DeeJay on Mon, 07/21/2008 - 07:52.
i listen mostly during (eastern time) business day. there seems be a glut of xtian hogwash tunes, and lee hazelwood-ish...especially today. i have to say if you folks insist on being a shadow of your former selves, im gonna have take my ears elsewhere (and my annual-ish $100 contribution for the past several years). how dare you shove religious dogma on a supposedly PROGRESSIVE (space age bachelor pad, et al) oriented station. nowhere on your postcard does it mention ANYTHING about goddamned xtian pretard music OR redneck dufus dinosaur tunes. which seems to have become a significant chunk of your programming preference these days. oh and the spot about the quiche (or whatever)...that sucks hard. you guys produced a couple good ones (the early ones). the quality is slipping bigtime. what happened to your production values? you lose a key person?
