Stereolab on YouTube

Hi all, here are my favorite tunes by Stereolab (http://www.stereolab.co.uk/), whom I discovered via Luxuria. 1. My favorite so far: "Rainbow Conversation" This tune is being played now and again on Luxuria, as is the second one I want to recommend: 2. "Parsec" Since embedding of this video is disabled, here's the URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIVbuHCeTWg&feature=related. And, finally 3. "Cybele's Reverie" This video resembles great French b/w movies from the thirties (like the ones by Jean Renoir, starring Jean Gabin, etc.). Imho, the photography and the editing are really outstanding here (as is the music, of course). To me, Stereolab is probably the most fascinating contemporary band I know. Ok, this is maybe a slight exaggeration, but anyway. Two other bands from the late 1990's whom I personally found very promising are The Prodigy ("Firestarter", "Breathe") and Smoke City ("Underwater Love"). (As far as I know, Nina Miranda, the former lead singer of "Smoke City", has started a new project of her own. I don't know any further details, though.)
