Where's the Intoxica Radio forum? I can't find it. Thanks much.
I would like to know, is Hobo soup tasty?
Hello everybody! It's been a long time since I've visited these parts. But I thought you all would enjoy this video I've posted to YouTube. This was a song I wrote and recorded in the early 1990's which was directly inspired by the heyday of Luxuria Music. Very recently, I created a visual accompaniment to the existing audio and posted it HERE:

This song features the Fabulous Miss Jude Swift in a vocal duet with yours truly. And believe it or not, the entire song was written on played on a tiny toy Casio midi keyboard and sequenced on my beloved old Atari ST computer!
Please check it out and DO leave your comments and ratings!
Thanks ever so!

Hey, luxuriamusic,
I like your new Style!
Keep up the good work.
I just got a wonderful premium from my second-favorite freeform/public broadcast radio station (KGNU in Boulder, CO): "Friday Afternoon Christmas Freakout." It's a CD full of all kinds of bizarre and twisted Xmas music, assembled by Friday Afternoon Sound Alternative DJs Barry Gilbert and his lovely wife, Agent 99.
Hi all,
yesterday, I designed my first LuxuriaMusic wallpaper (preview see above) and made it available as a free download on my own webspace. (Uploading them to
MySpace didn't work, because they were automatically scaled down.) If you like it, I can make some additional ones. This first wallpaper is available at
1024x768 and
1280x1024.

While I was home sick with the flu last week, I was thrilled to finally get to see the 1968 AIP flick WILD IN THE STREETS for the first time (it was on Comcast On Demand). As I expected, it was a prime example of psychotronic film (plot: when voting age is lowered to 14, alleged rock star is elected President, whereupon he ships everyone over 35 to concentration camps where they're force-fed LSD). What I didn't expect, and was utterly tickled to discover, was a terrific soundtrack as well.
Hi, right now, I'm listening to a very recommendable
interview [RealPlayer] David Ponak ("The Nice Age") did with Chris Dedrick of
The Free Design. This one is really very interesting, with several Free Design songs in full length! Claus
Just heard this song (a fave) on lux for the first time in years i think. i bought this CD long ago. how come you don't play as much of those sorts tunes anymore? bebel gilberto, serge gainsbourg, carnival, pizzicato (sp?) 5, obscure songs (to me) like "los gatos high", "April Fools" and (original) "bedazzled" soundtracks, stuff like that? someone else take over the programming? is it a royalty thing? I like the Koop (recent purchase), and some other additions
anyway my ipod has over 250 of my faves from my years listening to lux (over 1000 songs if u include the CD's i purchased), and well, most of them i no longer hear on lux.
